Social Committee
Social Committee is a fun and exciting way to get more involved in the orchestra! You get to plan your own events with a given budget, help organize existing events, offer suggestions for improvements, help set up for parties and other events, and become better friends with your CSO buddies :)

Marketing & Outreach Committee
The CSO Outreach Committee works with the Marketing and Fundraising/Outreach Chairs to get the word out about CSO each semester. Together, we brainstorm the theme of each main concert, create posters and flyers, design merchandise, and plan fundraisers. We also get to promote CSO both at UVA (by fulfilling some important traditions like chalking and painting Beta Bridge) and in the Charlottesville community (by reaching out to local businesses looking for sponsorship opportunities). We are always open to new, innovative ways to raise money and market CSO!
